SPEND THE SUMMER OF 2018 AT FEET FIRST!

This summer join us for our DANCE CAMP! Feet First provides age appropriate dance education that recognizes the child, teen, and adult as a whole human being, challenging and inspiring through technique, meaningful content and creative dance work. For the younger child Feet First provides a creative self-esteem affirming approach the dance with playful, dramatic use of stories and poems to inspire expression, team work, and individual development of emotional, social, mental and movement skills.

Session I- June 18-22 and August 6-10 (Ages 9-17 ) Summer Intensive 9:00AM- 3:00PM, Cost $295.00 weekly rate*

This intensive will include different genres such as: tap, ballet, hip-hop, and modern. The dancers will experience various dance classes, crafts, journaling and dance composition throughout the week. We strongly encourage your dancer to take part in the entire week to get the full experience.

Session II- July 16-20 (Ages 4-8) Discover Nature Through Dance! 9:00AM- 11:30PM, Cost $160.00 weekly rate*

Camp Policies:

  • Students must be designated age by June 1st, 2016
  • Student must be able to part from parent, listen to camp staff and follow simple instructions.
  • Dress code-Please dress students in light clothing. A short sleeved leotard with no tights or t-shirt and shorts are appropriate.
  • Please send water bottles with students. There will be several designated times for water breaks.

FEET FIRST SUMMER CAMP STAFF

Toni Duncan earned a BA in Dance and a BS in Marketing from DeSales University as well as a MA in Dance Education from the University of Northern Colorado. She has taught ballet, creative movement, modern, pointe, and tap at local studios since 1998. Toni has been a full-time dance faculty member at the PA Leadership Charter School – Center for Performing and Fine Arts since 2011.  She received her Children’s Yoga Certification through Child Light Yoga in 2010. Toni has been teaching at Feet First since 1999.

 

Kelsey Patrick earned a BA in Dance from Eastern University. While at Eastern, Kelsey was actively involved in the dance community, serving as the President of the Dance Guild for two years. She has been teaching hip-hop, jazz, modern, and ballet at Philadelphia area dance studios since graduation. Kelsey was a dancer with the Contempra Dance Theatre for three years. She currently dances for Melange Contemporary Dance Company. Kelsey’s Dance training began at Feet First at age six and is thrilled to be a teacher and office administrator at her home studio.
