Backstage Parents

Below is the list of the classes we need backstage help for. If your dancer is in one of these classes, we would greatly appreciate your help! You may only sign up for ONE class, not multiple. We need the designated amount of adults per class. Being a backstage parent is an ACTIVE job. We ask parents to not be on their cell phones while they are a backstage parent to give their full attention to the job. We are looking for parents who can navigate children with kind, friendly directions. Who are able to apply makeup, and help with hair. Who are up for crafting, and organizing games. All dancers will be staying in the cafeteria during the live performances. This is where they will stay until they are called for their dance. We may be able to live stream the show to the cafeteria this year; keep you posted on that! If you’re interested in helping, please click the link below to sign up.

All PA clearances must be emailed to FeetFirstDance710@gmail.com before the show so we have them on file. You can find a direct link to the PA clearances website, as well as the Signup Genius form attached above.

All parents will receive one comp ticket for the show they are not volunteering for. Details on how this will be distributed to come.

This year, our Head Backstage Parent is Megan Valencia. We are very grateful for her help and we ask that everyone work together as a team to make each show run smoothly. We will hold a meeting with all backstage volunteers during dress rehearsal. All backstage parents must be present for the show they sign up for AND also Sunday's dress rehearsal. Being at dress rehearsal will help you learn to navigate the school, where dancers will be, and also help us manage the dancers. Dress rehearsal will be the only time we have our students watch the show live from the audience, and having you there will be very beneficial! 

We are incredibly grateful for our amazing parent volunteers who help make our recital run smoothly. There are so many moving parts, and we truly couldn’t do this without you!
