Here at Feet First our recitals tend to look a little bit different then other studios. We enjoy creating a dance show that the whole family can enjoy. Every other year we choose a story for all of our dance classes to follow. This tends to fall on the even years. This means that each of our dance classes would have a specific part in the story line, we cast dancers who come and audition for special parts, and we have VoiceOver narration that weaves through the dances to help us tell the story. It is a wonderful experience for our dancers. Our faculty always does an incredible job bringing these stories to life through dance with their versatile creativity. On the odd years, our studio chooses a theme for our classes to follow. This helps creates another cohesive show that the audience can follow and enjoy.

Instructions for the Theater and Lobby area:
1. Eating and drinking is not allowed in the theater. All eating is confined to the lobby area.
2. Eating should never be done in costume; large shirts or T-shirts (Recital T-shirts are perfect for this!),
must be completely covering the costume for a dancer to eat while wearing one. The best plan is to eat in
rehearsal clothing.
3. Report areas: During tech week, dancers should report to the Spring-Ford 9th grade center’s Theater for all rehearsals. We will be using the cafeteria as our changing space and hangout area for all our dancers. During the performances,
dancers should report to the cafeteria an hour before the beginning of the show. Please note that the Theater will be closed for seating until 30 minutes before curtain. There is no reserved seating. The box office will open an hour before the show. See the enclosed information regarding ticket prices and pre-sale. Tickets will be sold at pre-sale prices during tech week and throughout the dress rehearsal evening. Tickets will be at full price at the door.
