Izzy started her formal dance training at Feet First in 2015, where she immediately fell in love with both the expressivity and technicality of movement. Throughout her time at Feet First, she took an abundance of genres, including ballet, pointe, modern, contemporary, hip hop, and jazz. In 2018, she joined the studio’s youth company, Footage, where she performed numerous dances and styles throughout the greater Philadelphia area. In high school, Izzy also joined The Rock School for Dance Education, where she continued her dance study with an exclusive focus on techniques in ballet, pointe, contemporary ballet, and variations. After graduating high school, Izzy began her collegiate dance career at Ursinus College, where she was offered the school’s Dance Scholarship. At Ursinus, Izzy focused on rigorous technique training as well as gaining knowledge on dance history and pedagogical practices. In college, Izzy learned and refined her technique in genres including but not limited to vogue, afro-contemporary, house, contemporary ballet, afrobeats, vernacular jazz, improvisation, post-modern, Latin contemporary, and capoeira. In addition to her dance training, Izzy also concentrated on choreography, dance instruction, and research at Ursinus, creating a total of five individual performances and three co-choreographed ones, spanning from duets to large company works. In 2025, Izzy was invited to take one of her dances to ACDA (the American College Dance Association conference), where one of her individual works was formally adjudicated by a multitude of professional choreographers. In the summer of 2025, Izzy also interned with the renowned Philadelphia-based contemporary ballet company, BalletX, where she had the opportunity to further refine her contemporary ballet technique under the instruction of numerous influential teachers in the field, such as Christine Cox. Izzy graduated from Ursinus in spring 2026, with majors in Dance and in English. In her final semester, she conducted independent honors research on dance and technology, as well as dance instruction practices and genre fusion. Izzy also received the Excellence in Dance award, as well as induction into the National Dance Honors Society with High Honors in Dance.

Izzy is thrilled to be back with her Feet First family.
