Tap
Tap is a dynamic class centered on rhythm, musicality, and precise footwork. Dancers build strong technical skills while exploring both rhythmic tap and Broadway-style choreography, learning to create music through movement. The class also highlights the history and evolution of tap dance, keeping dancers grounded in its cultural roots and legacy.
Dress code: Tight form fitted clothing-leotards, tank tops, leggings, and compression shorts are all acceptable. No baggy t-shirts or sweat pants. It is important for the teacher to see the dancers body alignment. Hair should be pulled back and out of the dancers face. No jewelry.
Shoe requirements: Black split sole tap shoes (discuss with your teacher if you have any questions)
Please note: Dance shoes should not be worn outside of the studio (For example, to and from the car!)
